ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Mike. After a number of years working as a greenkeeper at some of the South West's top golf courses, including St. Enodoc and Lanhydrock in Cornwall and Woodbury Park in Devon, I started this business in 2021 to supplement my income. I soon discovered that the skill set and work ethic I developed in greenkeeping was extremely applicable to domestic gardening and I quickly built up a significant regular customer base that allowed me to go full time with the business within a year. As you will see from my reviews, my customers appreciate my friendliness, hard work and attention to detail. I have City & Guilds qualifications in Greenkeeping and Horticulture, Chainsaw Maintenance and Operations, and the Safe Use of Pesticides (PA1 and PA6).

 

Since I started I have accumulated all of the tools required to cover any possible task a customer requires for their garden. All of my power tools are battery operated, and my electric van has its own mains charging point I can use to charge on the go, without the need for ever using my customers' electricity. As well as being much better for the environment than traditional fume-generating petrol versions, my tools are much quieter and much less stop-start to operate, and at 56V still have the oomph to get through the toughest material efficiently. This combined with my strong work ethic allow me to complete a greater volume of work in the time I am with my customers than the average gardener. I am happy working to specific instruction but more than capable of taking full control and setting my own priorities in each visit to your garden.
